Dev Samaj College of Education uses digital classrooms during covid 19 crisis
Self-Assessment Tests are being provided online to students
Chandigarh: Teachers of Dev Samaj College of Education(DSCE), Sec 36-B, have shifted to ‘E-Learning’ teaching methods and created an online learning environment which is the need of the hour, to combat the situation that has developed under COVID 19.
To keep students abreast with the curriculum at a time of closure of educational institutes due to Corona, online modes like Google classrooms and collaborative tasks via Google sheets, Google docs, Google slides have been initialised by the college.
Dr (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal, DSCE said, "Our team of educators have created online study material, and assignments which are being delivered and submitted back by students online. These are then being evaluated on the net. There is a real time online feedback being given to students. What's more, online self assessment test creation using TESTMOZ is taking place and results too are being declared on the internet. Our teachers are engaging students well on the net and solving their queries too online."
Self-Assessment Tests are being provided online to students to apprise them about the preparation they need to do for future examinations, when the Corona problem subsides and regular classes start.
Meanwhile, teachers have created their own YouTube channels to deliver lessons in a highly interesting format with visuals and voice-overs in English as well as Hindi medium. Different modules of lessons on several topics of various subjects have been made for benefit of students.
