Dev Samaj College For Women, Sec 45, Chandigarh organised a Farewell party for passing out students.
Chandigarh, April 16, 2019: Dev Samaj College for Women, Sec-45/B, Chandigarh organized a farewell function for final year students . The whole college campus wore a colourful look. Girls dressed in formal attires looked gorgeous. The juniors put up an entertaining music and dance show which included a medley of songs and dance performances on popular Bollywood numbers.
Ridhi of B.A-I gave an enthralling performance to welcome the students. Divya Rana and Kashish of BA-II performed on fusion of bhangra. ADS group performed Bollywood mash-up. Loveleen, B. Com-III thanked everyone on behalf of final year students.
A large number of girl students vied for the title of ‘Miss Dev Samaj’ out of which 15 were short listed. They showcased their talent and danced rhythmically to the tunes of different songs. Sukhmeet Kaur won the ‘Miss Dev Samaj’ title. Lovleen Vinayak won the 1st runners up title. Rupali won 2nd runners up title. Diksha Sachdeva was adjudged ‘Miss Fashionista’. The title of the “Miss Confident” was claimed by Parminder Kaur.
Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Principal of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sec-36, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion and she wished all the students success in their lives. Principal, Dr. Jaspal Kaur, applauded the efforts of the juniors in putting up such a grand farewell. The seniors bid a tearful adieu to their college, their loving teachers and friends.
