Khanna, December 26, 2021: Development of rural areas is the stepping stone towards the social growth, reveals Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh while inaugurating two projects in village Alour here today.
The first project was the inauguration of a Dharamshala in Bazigar basti of village Alour Cabinet minister which was especially attended by the Satnam Singh Soni, the Chairman of Block Samiti Khanna. He appreciated Gurkirat Singh for looking into the welfare of the people in his constituency.
Another prestigious project that was inaugurated today was that of Anganwari centre in village Alour. The anganwari centre is the need of the hour in the village for which the villagers expressed their gratitude to the minister. “This Anganwari centre will be helpful in extending help to take care of children taking care of their nutrition, health and hygiene,” stated Gurkirat Singh.
A large number of dignitaries including Dr Gurmukh Singh Chahal, village Sarpanch Samund Singh, social activist Kuldip Singh Dhindsa along with various panches were also present at the occasion.
