Ludhiana: Punjab Large Industrial Development Board Chairman Pawan Dewan strongly condemned the anti-farmer attitude of the Narendra Modi government . He said that farmers were forced to agitate due to the centre government’s love and support towards the corporate houses . Dewan alleged that the Narendra Modi government at the Center is working in the interest of the corporate houses, which brought anti-farmer laws and when the farmers opposed those laws, it is being forcibly suppressed. They first rejected the farmers in the name of negotiation many times and when the farmers were going to protest in Delhi, used force on them.

Dewan said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh stood shoulder to shoulder with the farmers. He has also appealed to the Center to agree to the demands of farmers by talking with them.
