DG, IIMC released AD and PR Department’s Annual Magazine ‘The Baton’
The Advertising & Public Relations students of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) brought out the 2021-22 edition of the departmental magazine The Baton.
New Delhi, March10, 2022: The Advertising & Public Relations students of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) brought out the 2021-22 edition of the departmental magazine The Baton. The magazine covers variety of issues related to Advertising, PR and Corporate Communication industries.
The magazine was released by Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, DG, IIMC and Prof. Anubhuti Yadav, Course Director, AD & PR in presence of Dr. Pawan Koundal, Assistant Editor, Publications Department, IIMC and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Communication Consultant. Dr. Nisa Askari and Ms. Sarima Thakur, Academic cum Teaching Associates, AD & PR Department were also present during the release.
The theme for this edition is “Crisis Communication: Sailing Through The Storms”. The magazine presents 76 case studies of crisis handling by leading brands and organizations. Along with the case studies, the magazine also carries interviews of industry stalwarts on how crises were handled by various brands and organizations.
Sharing their experience of working on The Baton, Editor- in- Chiefs and AD & PR students Prachi Rastogi and Ritika Kashyap noted “We are proud to have worked, in tandem, with an immaculate editorial board during the past two months. When we started working on the magazine, we were extremely excited to be embarking on this important role. It has been an enriching experience to work with my colleagues collaboratively with a qualitative approach. This magazine is bound to interest all the advertising and public relations aspirants. We are hopeful that this will add incredible value to their media aptitude.”
