Dhaliwal and Jimpa reiterate pledge to maintain hard earned peace and harmony of Punjab at every cost

Ludhiana, September 11, 2022: Punjab Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Revenue Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa reiterated the firm commitment of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to maintain the hard-earned peace and harmony of the state at every cost. 

Addressing the gathering in 301th Ration Distribution function organized by Lala Jagat Narayan Nishkam Sewa Society and Gyan Sathal Mandir Sabha, here today, they said that every Punjabi was duty-bound to accord top priority to the interest of the state. 

Lauding the Hind Samachar group for doing exemplary service to the humanity, the Cabinet Ministers said that the supreme sacrifice made by Lala Jagat Narain and Ramesh Ji for unity and integrity of the country would be ever remembered by society. 

Expressing concern over the attempts being made by some anit-social elements to derail the peace in the state, they said that the Punjab government under leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was firmly committed to foil the attempts of such forces. They called upon all the people to join hands giving a befitting reply to all such forces. They said that though some people sitting in abroad were hatching conspiracies to bring black days back in state but government will not allow them to disturb peace and harmony of state.

The Ministers said that while Punjab was the hotbed of terrorism in 1980s but Hind Samachar group valiantly came forward to save the state from this danger. They said that this family made every sacrifice to ensure that normalcy was returned in the state. They said that the entire state was indebted to Hind Samachar group for giving preference to the interests of the country and state. They said that any attempt to degrade the morale of the armed forces of the country would be detrimental for the security and integrity of the country. 

Jimpa also announced Rs 5 lakh for the organization from his own discretionary funds. 

On the occasion, Abhijay Chopra from Hind Samachar Group, MLAs Daljit Singh Grewal, Madan Lal Bagga, Ashok Parashar Pappi, Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank chairman Suresh Goyal, AAP district incharge Sharanpal Singh Makkar, Retired DGP D R Bhatti and others were present.
