Dharamshala ready to host weeklong assembly session: DC

Dharamshala, December 7, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the district administration has completed preparations for the proposed assembly session on December 9 in Tapovan, Dharamshala. In this regard, an administrative meeting was also conducted on Saturday in Dharamshala under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapat, in which facilities were also reviewed in Dharamshala City and the Assembly premises in Tapovan. Prajapati said that proper arrangements will be made for the stay of ministers, MLAs and officials during the assembly session. Liaison officers have also been appointed for it. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said, “The winter session of the assembly will be held here from December 9 to December 14, for which necessary facilities of electricity, drinking water etc. will be provided in the assembly premises.” He said that during the assembly session, a plan for security has been prepared, along with this, necessary steps will also be taken regarding traffic and parking so that the common people do not face inconvenience at any stage.
