Having an established pillar of support in the form of your sibling in a volatile industry like filmmaking and acting can always be a sigh of relief as it comes with loads of experiences to bank upon and innumerable lessons of learning. Actor Dhaval Thakur who is gearing up for his debut on Disney+ Hotstar with Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar, recently spoke about how he looks up to his sister Mrunal Thakur as she has carved her niche and raised the bar when it comes to acting.

Dhaval Thakur said, “Every actor has their process and I always discuss with my sister to get to know her take on the craft. Discussing each other's processes always teaches me something new.  Whenever we have that conversation, there's something to learn every time. Discussing what cinema we are watching, what books are we reading currently, and what music are we listening to. I think all these aspects help to give a better performance and help to develop a better character each time. And what I've learnt from her, the most important thing is to trust your process. I think that is one of the most important things for an actor.”
