Ludhiana, April 23, 2025: Diplomacy in Action : A Day full of Delegates, Moderated caucus, substantive debates and diplomatic discussions.
The Faculty of International Business, under the Department of Business Management at Punjab College of Technical Education organized Model United Nations 2025 – A General Meeting on Russia Ukraine War. The PCTE MUN illuminated the global dialogue on the Russia Ukraine crisis.
The committee was chaired by Mr. Amit Sethi, who presided as a member of the Executive Board, ensuring structured deliberations and maintaining the diplomatic decorum of the house. Under his guidance, delegates showcased an impressive depth of research, policy articulation, and statesmanship.
The delegates started with intellectual vigor, as they engaged in discussion on war’s multifaceted impact, highlighting the plight of humanitarian crisis, access to aid and safe corridors.
The final session culminated with a display of diplomacy and collaboration among nations highlighting possible solutions, as delegates synthesized their diverse perspectives into a comprehensive working paper – symbolizing a shared commitment to peace, resilience and multilateral co-operation.
Chaahat Angrish, delegate of Ukraine, a first year student of MBA International Business was conferred the Best Delegate Title. Pavit Paawan Kaur, delegate of France, first year student of MBA International Business was awarded the High Commendation Title. Deepak Sharma, final year student of MBA International Business was titled Special Mention.
Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General, appreciated the commendable efforts of the MBA (International Business) faculty and the dedication demonstrated by the students of the MBA (IB) program. Ms. Harpreet Kaur Kang, Dean – International Affairs, commended the initiative and emphasized that students should stay informed about geopolitical issues to better understand global business dynamics.
In conclusion, the Model United Nations at Punjab College of Technical Education was more than just an academic simulation—it was a powerful platform for cultivating global awareness, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving among future leaders. By curating such intellectually enriching platforms, PCTE continues to inspire the youth to become transformative agents of dialogue, diplomacy, and global change.
