DIPS School Tanda Grabbed Three Trophies In Wushu Championship

Jalandhar, September 13, 2015: As per the guidance of Chairman sir S.Gurbachan Singh and CEO Mrs.Monika Mandotra , DIPS Tanda has participated in Punjab state Wushu Championship that was held at Bathinda on 4th to 6th sep 2015. U-17 Boys and U-17 Girls played with full confidence. In this tough competition the players of DIPS TANDA grabbed 7 medals. Among these 2 are of Gold and five Bronze. Two Students Satvir Singh and Prabhdeep Kaur have been selected for national level. Punit, Ravneet, Ravneet, Parneet, Rajveer, jaspreet have been awarded with bronze medals by Surinder Singh Sodhi, IPS, I.G on Olympian Arjun Awardees.

In Tae- Kwando competition and Wushu championship that was held at Indo Stadium , Hoshiarpur on 7sep to 8sept DIPS SCHOOL TANDA  grabbed three trophies U-19 (Boys) got first trophy in this difficult match. U-17 and U-19 (Girls) got two 2nd runners up trophies. 29 medals total were brought to Institution as big achievements. Among there, 18 students Harsimranpreet, Manpreet, Prabhdeep,Parneet, Rajvir,Palwinder, Kiranpreet, Harsukhpreet,, Harkaran, Diljot,Tanvi,Jaspreet,Ravneet grabbed Gold Medal with much pleasure. Balpreet, Jagroop, Bhavdeep,Sameer got silver medals in this hard competition. Students Pawandeep, Jasmeen, Amardeep, Diljot, Manavjit,Bhavdeep, Kuljit Kaur, were awarded with Bronze in Punjab Board School Games Hoshiarpur. In this hard to decide competition, three wonderful trophies were caught by DIPS School Tanda and Total 36 Medals (Gold-20, Silver-4, Bronze-12) in Punjab state Wushu Association and Punjab Board school game is really a Big achievement in itself.

Principal Mrs. Divya Chawla Appreciated and congratulated the winners, all players as well as the Coaches Ms. Niti , Mr. Pardeep and Mr. Onkar. She also explained that these types of activities must be organized in every institution for Physical and mental fitness of children.
