DIPS Students say no to plastic

Jalandhar:
An activity ‘say no to plastic’ to save environment was organized in all DIPS School. Students made use of old newspaper and clothes to make amazingly beautiful paper bags, envelops and bags.  These were artistically decorated by them. Parents also participated in this activity to contribute their share and creativity to save environment. Students gave the message of no plastic on their bags and pledged to avoid the use of plastic.

Teachers cautioned students about the hazards of plastic for the environment as it is non-biodegradable material. They block drains and animals get choked and as a result they die. They are nuisance to aquatic and wildlife.

MD Tarwinder Singh and CEO Monica Mandotra remarked in order to protect our planet from plastic pollution, it is essential to create awareness about the harmful effects of plastic. Awareness starts by informing and educating the children.
