DIPS Suranussi won Dips School Zone-2 Basketball match and made place in semi-finals
On the second day of the Inter Dips Sports Tournament, the Zone-2 match was held at the Ground of Dips School Suranussi.
Jalandhar, October 19, 2022: On the second day of the Inter Dips Sports Tournament, the Zone-2 match was held at the Ground of Dips School Suranussi. matches of volleyball, basketball and kho-kho between girls and boys were played between team of the schools of Dips. At the commencement of the competition Principal Vinod Sharma, Chairperson Jaswinder Kaur and CE Monica Mandotra with flowers. Giddha and Bhangra were presented by the children on Punjabi songs.
The first match in Kho-Kho was played between Dips Surranussi and Urban Estate team in which Suranussi's team won. The second match took place between Karolbagh and Lakkhan ki Padde in which Karolbagh team won. The third match was between the team of Suranussi and Kapurthala School in which Suranussi won. The final and last match was between Suranussi and Karol Bagh team in which Karol Bagh team won by performing their best.
In the Volleyball game competition, the first match was between the team of Suranussi and Urban Estate, in which the team of Suranussi and the second match was between the team of Karol Bagh and Kapurthala School in which the team of Kapurthala won. The final match was played between Suranussi and Kapurthala School in this Suranussi won.
The first match in basketball was played between Dips School Nurmahal and Suranussi in which Suranussi was the winner. The second match was played between Dips School Mehta Chowk and Kapurthala in which the team of Mehta Chowk won. The third and final match was played between Suranussi and Mehta Chowk in which Suranussi School won.
The winning team in Zone-2 has secured its place in the semi-finals. Tomorrow matches will be played between the schools of Zone-3 in the ground of Dips School Bhogpur School. The winning teams in these zone matches will qualify for the semi-final and final rounds.
All these matches were held under the supervision of DIPS Sports manager Manmohan Singh and Aditya, Vishal, Rohit, Sahil, Digvijay, Naveen play the role of referees. Chairperson Jaswinder Kaur appreciated the sportsmanship of all the players and motivated them to keep working hard in the same way.
CEO Monica Mandotra said that all the teams gave a very tough fight to each other and worked hard to win but the winner is the one who gives his best.
