Director General of Medical Services (Army) reviews Vajra Corps’ healthcare resources
Lieutenant General Daljit Singh Director General of Medical Services (Army) and Senior Colonel Commandant Army Medical Corps visited Vajra Corps to take stock of the health care resources.
Jalandhar, June 9, 2022: Lieutenant General Daljit Singh Director General of Medical Services (Army) and Senior Colonel Commandant Army Medical Corps visited Vajra Corps to take stock of the health care resources. The Director General of Medical Services (Army) also inaugurated a 44 bedded Surgical complex with an integrated 10 bedded Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and bedded High Dependency Unit (HDU). All the beds have been provided with individual bed head panels equipped with Oxygen pipeline and central suction. The Surgical ICU is furnished with state-of-the-art electro hydraulic beds with dual remotes and ‘quick-leveling’ CPR lever. All the beds have latest monitors attached to a central station and ventilators.
The complex includes 18 bedded orthopedic section with a six bedded Joint Replacement Center with air purifier. The complex also comprises of a separate counseling room and waiting area for the relative of patients. The facilities will augment Surgical Care to the serving as well as large number of veterans subscribing to the Military Hospital Jalandhar. Further, the Director General of Medical Services (Army) appreciated the medical care rendered by the Hospital.
