Chandigarh, October 1, 2012: The Punjab Government has changed the name of Directorate, Sainik Welfare, Punjab to Directorate, Defense Services Welfare, Punjab with immediate effect.
While disclosing this here today, an official spokesman of Punjab government said that with the decision in cabinet meeting, now onwards District Sainik Welfare Officer (DSWO) would be known as District Defense Services Welfare Officer (DDSWO).
