Lucknow: For a beautiful life, the will and power are determined by the individual, and one such champion from the city of Nawabs, Bhaavya Kapur began her illustrious career working as a freelance makeup artist in 2011. To follow her passion, Kapur decided to base her enterprise in Lucknow. By the subsequent year, in 2012, she had established herself working from her mother’s living room. It is said that the "journey of a thousand miles begins with one step". This was the first step in the exponential rise that was to follow.

Bhaavya worked with exemplary dedication and inspiring ingenuity to carve a niche for herself and, with time, established herself as the very personification of perseverance. Through unwavering dedication and unrelenting hard work, Kapur exponentially expanded her business domain and client outreach in subsequent years. By 2013, Mrs. Kapur had integrated her services and had hired 4 staff members to work at her dedicated BK Studio at Gokhale Marg. The years to follow witnessed a crescendo of growth and stellar achievements as Kapur further opened 7 more branches in and around Lucknow. These included Gomti Nagar Branch (2015), Aashiyana Branch (2016), BK Academy – Gokhale Marg (2017), Jopling Road Branch (2019), Kapurthala Branch (2020), Kanpur Branch (2021) and Jhansi Branch (2022). She is now celebrated as the founder of Uttar Pradesh’s top makeup studio and academy. Translating her dreams into reality, she has come to be known as a hands-on entrepreneur who has, in the past decade, created a profitable business along with her husband.

"I've always had a fascination with the arts and creativity. I further explored my calling and set my boat to sail on this journey. I also remember the time when I started. The market was flourishing with budding artists and the challenge was not only to set myself in a unique position but also to earn trust among my clientele, "said Bhaavya Kapoor during the interaction.

As much as her professional journey, she is a devoted wife, a loving mother, an avid traveller, and an avant-garde artist. As a vegan, she is dedicated to her fitness and religiously works towards her physical, mental, and spiritual goals through a confluence of working out, meditation, and yoga. As a successful entrepreneur with an eminent history of working in the health, wellness, and fitness industries, Kapur is highly accomplished in Market Planning, Operations Management, Communication, Market Analysis, and Public speaking.

Kapur has mentored an extensive list of students at her acclaimed BK Academy located at Gokhale Marg. With over 1000 outstanding graduates to date, her protégés have gone on to make a name for themselves in arenas such as design, healthcare, fashion, and lifestyle.

When speaking on what inspires and motivates her, Kapur said, "Growing up in Lucknow, I have been actively involved in social work for the welfare of the community. I have been an ardent advocate of gender equality and LGBTQ+ rights. Going forward, I plan to organise a dedicated chat show with the transgender community to bring awareness to society. I believe in equality for all, and I want to work every day to educate, empower, and empower those around me."
