District admn and NGO organises 'I Vote, I Lead' awareness seminars to ensure maximum participation of first time voters during Lok Sabha elections
In order to ensure maximum participation of first time voters in the upcoming lok sabha elections, District Election office Ludhiana and NGO Initiators of Change organized a voter Awareness seminar under "I Vote, I Lead Campaign" at various ITI colleges of Samrala sub division on Tueaday.
Ludhiana, March 19, 2024: In order to ensure maximum participation of first time voters in the upcoming lok sabha elections, District Election office Ludhiana and NGO Initiators of Change organized a voter Awareness seminar under "I Vote, I Lead Campaign" at various ITI colleges of Samrala sub division on Tueaday.
Over 1000 students attended the seminars during which the new eligible voters were also enrolled. The seminar was taken by Simarpreet Kaur, Jalnidh Kaur, Aditya Sehgal and Riya Luthra. SVEEP officers and election supervisors of AC Samrala were also present on the occasion.
Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner cum District Electoral officer Ludhiana, young volunteers of the city have joined hands with the administration to ensure maximum turnout, especially for the first time voters in the upcoming elections.
Talking about the efforts by district election office ludhiana, Simarpreet Kaur one of the seminar leaders said, "We are thankful for the support provided by the Ludhiana administration and SVEEP Officers in boosting our initiative. We will be organising seminars in over 65 colleges in next 20 days to make sure that the youth of Ludhiana District votes smartly this time".
