DISTRICT LEVEL FUNCTION ON OCCASION OF BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DR B.R.AMBEDKAR AT MERITORIOUS SCHOOL TOMORROW

ADDITIONAL DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (JAGRAON) TAKES STOCK OF ARRANGEMENTS TODAY Ludhiana, April 13, 2019: On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr B.R.Ambedkar, the District Administration Ludhiana would be organising a function at Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students, here tomorrow. Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal would be the chief guest on the occasion. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Jagraon) Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta today took stock of the arrangements and also chaired a meeting with the officials in the premises of Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students. She directed the officials of all government departments to supervise the duties assigned to them personally so that this district-level function is organised smoothly. She exhorted the people to follow the path shown by Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar and said that Indian Constitution was the result Dr Ambedkar’s hard work, dedication and vision. Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta informed that tomorrow, the Deputy Commissioner would also pay floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar at his statue installed in District Administrative Complex, here. Prominent among those present on the occasion included SDM Payal Mrs Swati Tiwana, Principal of Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students Ludhiana Col (Retd) Amarjit Singh, besides several others.
