Anup Upadhyay as Murari in Jijaji Chhat Per Hain

“I have always loved Diwali since the festival is full of lights and delicious sweets. I feel that we should all make the most of this festival to spend quality time with our family and friends since the daily hustle and bustle of our daily lives does not allow us to do so.

My family eagerly waits for this auspicious festival since everyone gets together. This time is extra special as my niece is flying down from USA to celebrate Diwali with us. We plan to decorate the house together while my sister-in-law prepares delicious sweets for us. I wish all my viewers a very Happy and safe Diwali!”

Niya Sharma as Sharada in Tenali Rama

“Diwali is one of the most auspicious festival in our Indian calendar. Every year, I celebrate Diwali by myself at my place. I enjoy making beautiful Rangoli’s, light diya’s and treat myself with mouth-watering sweets. Since the festival is all about spreading love and happiness, it is a humble request to avoid bursting crackers as it harms the environment and causes global warming as well. Wishing a very happy and prosperous Diwali to all the viewers of ‘Tenali Rama’.

Ankita Sharma as Sheetal Beechwale in Sony SAB’s Beechwale.

“I have some wonderful memories celebrating Diwali with my loved ones. Diwali falls on a ‘No Moon Day’ however there is brightness all around. This feeling of ‘Light in the Darkness’ is really mesmerizing. It has been an annual ritual for us since childhood to have the family come together to clean and decorate the house together during Diwali. Apart from this, I make sweets, light Diyas and candles and then there’s Puja in the evening. As a child, I used to burst crackers, but I don’t anymore; I just light ‘fuljhadi’. I would like to wish all the viewers of ‘Beechwale’ a very happy and safe Diwali.”

Nikhil Khurana as Pancham in the comedy show Jijaji Chhat Per Hain on Sony SAB

“For me, the festival of Diwali is all about getting together with family and friends, chilling with them and relaxing. It is a nice time to catch up with everyone and spend time together. I don’t really believe in bursting crackers, not only because I am an environmentalist, but also because I feel that the festival is more about lights, sweets and togetherness.

This year, my mom is in town so I will be celebrating Diwali with her, decorating the house with lights and candles. We will also be meeting some of our friends and exchange good wishes. So, it is a pretty simple and sober day for me. I would like to wish all our viewers a very Happy Diwali and would request them not burst crackers”
