DLLL&E, PU planning to organise summer vacation certificate course in fashion designing

Chandigarh, May 27, 2016: Department of Life Long Learning & Extension (DLLL&E), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh is planning to organise summer vacation certificate course in fashion designing.
The objective of the program is to develop self learning skills in fashion designing among University and school students, employee and their wards in the age group of 14-35 years. The course would commence in the month of June, 2016 and timing would be 11 AM to 1 PM. The syllabus to be included in the course is tie & die, Block printing, Stencil and screen printing and at the end of the program the students will also be taught the basics stitches in embroidery.
The renowned faculty from UIFT and DLLL&E and school teachers from Vocational course in fashion designing will be organizing workshops, practical training and interactive sessions in the summer vacation course. A large number of students have been enrolled in the program till date.
The program is not only giving the finishing points in Fashion designing to the students but also help them to open their avenues in designing.
