DM orders educational institutions to re-schedule last date of depositing fee for students
Directs educational institutions to give another one month extra without any fine after curfew/lockdown ends
Ludhiana: In view of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19), the District Administration has imposed curfew/lockdown in the district. In view of that, the District Administration, on the directions of the Punjab government, has provided relief to the parents with regard to depositing their fee of their children.
While issuing orders in this regard, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal have stated that in view of the ongoing circumstances and keeping in mind interests of the parents, all private educational institutions have been directed to re-schedule the last date of depositing fee, and would not force the parents to deposit the fee.
He stated that once the lockdown/curfew is over, the educational institutions would provide one month extra without any fine. The District Magistrate has asked all the District Education Officers to full compliance of these orders.
