DMC HOSPITAL CONDUCTS PUBLIC HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AT PRABHAKAR GARDEN & NURSERY

Ludhiana, June 6, 2019: A Public Health Awareness Program was conducted by DMC Hospital, Ludhiana today at Prabhakar Garden & Nursery, Joshi Nagar, Haibowal Kalan, and Ludhiana.

At this program medical check-up of 150 residents of the surrounding areas was done by a team of doctors from DMC Hospital, Ludhiana. The team consisted of doctors and technical staff from various specialties including General Medicine, Gynae and Orthopaedics. Blood Sugar testing, ECG, Blood pressure check up and the prescribed Medicines were provided free to the patients by DMC hospital.

All present were educated about precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life and that the early detection of disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure.

MLA Sh. Rakesh Pandey, Sr. Deputy Mayor Sh. Shyam Sunder Malhotra, President District Congress Committee Sh. Ashwani Sharma, Counselor Sh. Manraj Rajji, Counselor Smt. Rashi Hemraj Aggarwal and the organizer Sh. Gagnesh Parbhakar along with all present thanked the DMCH Management for reaching at their doorsteps and providing free of cost Medical check-up, Investigations, Medicines and Health awareness information. They said that the patients were highly benefited by this program and requested for more such programs in future.
