DMC Youth Club organises photography workshop ‘Zoom’ for faculty and residents
Ludhiana, April 11, 2019: DMC Youth Club today organized photography workshop ‘Zoom’ for the faculty and residents, who were interested in knowing about the basics of camera handling techniques and other technicalities involved in exposing a good quality photograph. The workshop was organized by DMC Youth Club in association with Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association along with NIKON India Pvt. Ltd. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Principal Dr Sandeep Puri along along with Senior Photo Journalist-Inderjeet Verma , who lauded the efforts of DMC Youth Club in organizing this technical workshop. In his message, Dr Puri said that as students, it is the best time for them to explore different facets of their personality, so that they learn different things with new enthusiasm at this stage. President of Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association-Gurmeet Singh appreciated the enthusiasm of young medicos in organizing this workshop and said that in future, the members of Association will always be available if anyone wants to clear his or her doubts about camera techniques Faculty co-ordinator Dr Sanjeev Uppal told the students that photography in today’s time has acquired manifold dimensions and is extensively used in the field of medicine, especially in some super specialties where teaching medicos through well clicked ‘photos’ of diseased part, made them easy to understand the subject. The workshop was conducted by Mr Vishal Dewan from NIKON India Pvt. Ltd, who elaborately informed the participants about various issues and technicalities of camera handling. He said that a good picture is worth thousands of words to describe any moment. It is the need of hour that one should know good camera handling techniques as it is very useful now-a-days in every sphere of any business or profession. Students felt excited in knowing about technical know-how of the camera and also learnt about some basic technical terms of camera handling, which they had not heard before. President of DMC Youth Club-Navreet Kaur proposed a vote of thanks to all those present on the occasion and said that in future, DMC Youth Club will organize many more activities for the benefits of students.
