DMC&H Cancer Centre observes World Cancer Day

Ludhiana, February 3, 2024: A remarkable collaboration between DMCH Cancer Care Centre and the American Oncology Institute unfolded today in celebration of World Cancer Day. The event featured an enlightening health talk by Dr. Gurpreet Singh Brar and Dr. Sandhya Sood, emphasizing the critical importance of raising cancer awareness.

The synergy between DMCH Cancer Care Centre and American Oncology Institute was showcased, highlighting their commitment to providing comprehensive cancer care services under one roof. The event celebrated a distinguished panel of specialists covering various domains such as surgical oncology, head & neck surgical oncology, hemato-oncology, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, and medical oncology.
 

A heartwarming gesture took place as cancer patients were honored with plants, symbolizing hope and resilience. Special recognition was extended to NGOs making significant contributions in the fight against cancer. Dr. Ajay Mohan Sharma, President K Foundation, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, Executive Member of Ek Noor Sewa Society, and Mr. Pankaj from Rock Foundation graced the occasion as esteemed guests of honor.
