DMCH CONDUCTS PUBLIC HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AT BHAGWAN VALMIK DHARMASHALA, BIHARI COLONY INDUSTRIAL AREA-A LUDHIANA

Ludhiana, August 7, 2018: A Public Health Awareness Program was conducted by DMC & Hospital, Ludhiana on 07 August 2018 at Bhagwan Valmik Dharamshala, Bihari Colony, Industrial Area – A, Ludhiana. The Program was conducted by the hospital in association with Noble Foundation.

At this program thorough medical check-up of 301 patients was done by team of doctors from DMC & Hospital including specialist doctors of General Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynae, Skin and Eye. Patients were very thankful to the DMC Hospital team for reaching at their doorsteps and providing free of cost Eye testing, Blood Pressure monitoring, Spot HB, Blood Sugar, ECG. The Medicines prescribed were provided free to the patients.

The patients were educated about precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life and that early detection of disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure.

The Program was inaugurated by Sh. B. K. Jha IRS (Chief Commissioner Income Tax Ludhiana), Sh. T.S. Nagpal (Deputy Director DRI), Sh. Amolak Singh (Zonal Manager Punjab and Sindh Bank), Sh. Prem Kumar Gupta (Secretary DMCH Managing Society) & Smt. Sunila Gupta, Sh. Suresh Munjal (Chairman Satyam Auto), Sh. Anil Gupta (Managing Director Tech Auto), Sh. Arun Thapar and Sh. Kesho Ram Vij (Managing Director Ashoka Dying) and Sh. Rajinder Sharma from Noble Foundation.

Sh. Rajinder Sharma , Noble Foundation thanked the DMCH Management for such informative program and said that the all were highly benefited by the check up, investigations and the medicines given and requested for more such program in future.
