Ludhiana, April 22, 2025: The Department of Ophthalmology, DMC&H, Ludhiana, proudly inaugurated the state-of-the-art CONSTELLATION Vision System, a cutting-edge platform designed for advanced vitreo-retinal surgeries.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society; Mukesh Verma, Treasurer, DMC&H Managing Society; Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Medical Superintendent; and Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics, DMC&H.
Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Professor & Head; Dr Pallavi Singh, Vitreo Retina and Uvea Specialist; Dr Priyanka Arora, Professor; Dr Ritesh Verma, Assistant Professor; Dr Rashmi Malhotra, Assistant Professor from Department of Ophthalmology and VRS OT staff were present on the occasion.
The constellation Vision System significantly enhances the precision, safety, and outcomes of complex retinal procedures, benefiting patients suffering from retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, tractional retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and other serious vitreoretinal disorders.
Bipin Gupta said that, DMC&H is always committed to provide the best medical care to the facilities to the patients of the region by upgrading the infrastructure and by acquiring the world class equipments.

Dr. Pallavi Singh, Vitreo Retina and Uvea Specialist, shared that with the addition of this ultra-modern equipment, DMC&H has become one of the very few centers in the region to offer advanced and comprehensive retinal care with sutureless 25G and 27G vitrectomies.
