Doctors, Staff and patients of DMC&H pay homage today to former secretary DMC&H Managing Society, Prem Nath Gupta, on occasion of his 16th death anniversary whose tireless efforts and visionary leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the institution.
Ludhiana, January 8, 2025: Doctors, Staff and patients of DMC&H pay homage today to former secretary DMC&H Managing Society, Prem Nath Gupta, on occasion of his 16th death anniversary whose tireless efforts and visionary leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the institution.
Prem Nath Gupta, former Secretary of DMC&H Managing Society, who established HDHI in 2021 the largest heart centre in north India. Mr Gupta served as secretary DMC&H for 23 years and he incorporated many advancements and facilities to the hospital and HDHI was one his greatest accomplishment.
Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMCH Managing Society, emphasized that late Sh. Prem Nath Gupta had a deep commitment for the DMC&H and he transformed DMC&H into an institution that not only provides world-class medical care services but also cultivates future generations of healthcare professionals.
Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal, DMC&H expressed his admiration for late Sh. Prem Nath Gupta's leadership, stated that Sh Prem Nath Gupta was not only instrumental in setting up Hero DMC Heart Institute but also a driving force behind introducing the most cutting-edge equipment at DMC&H. His legacy will forever remain a guiding light for all of us.
Dr Bishav Mohan, Chief Cardiologist and coordinator Hero DMC heart Institute, highlighted that today HDHI is the largest cardiac centre in the northern region equipped with 189 total beds, 16 private rooms, 02 cath labs, 04 operation theatre, facility of ECMO and has a dedicated team of Cardiologist, Cardio thoracic Surgeons and Anaesthetists. More than 15000 bypass surgeries have been done in addition to more than 20000 percutaneous procedures and 10000 pacemakers implanted so far.
