Jalandhar, November 18, 2022: Students of P.G. Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Doaba College, shines at Chitkara School of Mass Communication’s (CSMC’s) national annual media fest ‘UDAAN’.
Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that students of P.G. Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Doaba College, bagged first prizes in various events at Chitkara School of Mass Communication’s (CSMC’s) annual national media fest ‘UDAAN ‘ held recently.
Kalpana Bhatia, (MAJMC Sem I) bagged First position in RJ Hunt. In the quiz event- Tickle your Brain, two members team, Rishika kriti (MAJMC Sem I) & Amandeep Singh (MAJMC Sem IV), stood First. In collage making- Mismosh competition, Kanishka Malhotra (BAJMC Sem V) got first prize.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, highlighted the serious and persistent hard work put in by the entire department through its various activities around the year as the main reason behind department’s distinct identity in media education and training.
Dr. Simran Sidhu, Head, P.G. Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, said that “Quiz Express and Film screening, weekly feature of the department greatly facilitate in honing the academic, intellectual and analytical skills of the students.
