Doaba College launches Sampark Scholarship Scheme
Concession of Rs.2000 per year will be given to wards of frontline workers, corona warriors and defence personnels
Jalandhar: Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari in a press release said that Doaba College has launched ‘Sampark Scholarship Scheme’ for outstanding and needy students. He said that Doaba College fully understands the problems faced by students in Covid-19 pandemic scenario and the college looks forward to lend a helping hand to them. In this direction the college envisages to give concession cum scholarship of Rs. 6000 per year to those students who have lost their parents due to corona this year. Concession of Rs. 2000 per year will be given to wards of frontline workers, corona warriors and defence personnels. Similarly 90 percent scholarship cum concession will be given to 10+2 students on the basis of their secured marks. A student getting first position in college will be given 10 percent concession, Single Girl Child will be given Rs. 2000 concession per year, student keeping Elective Sanskrit as subject will be given Rs. 3000 concession per year and for Brother Sister 15 to 20 percent concession For any type of fee concession a student should be passed in previous exam with minimum 50% marks.
