Jalandhar, May 30, 2022: NSS unit along with Ek Bharat, Shreshatha Bharat Club of Doaba College Jalandhar organised a poster making contest on the theme “Conservation of Water”.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari addressed the students and shared his views on importance of conservation of water and convinced students to save water for future generations. NSS coordinator Dr. Arshdeep Singh encouraged the students to participate in this event to generate awareness in society. Twenty seven students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm showing their creativity through posters.
The posters were judged by Dr. Daljeet Singh, Head Department of Geography. In this poster making competition, Balveen Kaur, student of BSc IT sem II secured first position while Ankit Sharma, B.Com Sem II and Anushka Kamal, BSc Med Sem IV secured second and third position respectively. Also, consolation prize was given to Puja BA BEd Sem II.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari congratulated the students who excelled in poster making competition.
