Dharamsala, March 7, 2013: The Teacher Association of Medical College Tanda (TAMCOT) have approached the Chief Minister Himacha Pradesh about the unbecoming behaviour of Principal Dr. Rajender Prashad Medical College Tanda DRPGMC in Kangra, near Dharamsala .

The association in a written complaint to CM has said that it has become tough for them to work in such atmosphere. The  general secretary of TAMCOT  Dr. Amit Gupta said, “ Contrary to the directions from government, the Principal when on leave or out of station is not handing over the charge to next senior most professor which is affecting the working of institution.”  

He said that ignoring the standing directions of government, the principal is not allotting the campus accommodation meant for faculty involved in emergency duties, forcing them to opt for rented accommodation.

He further alleged that Two, Type V sets have been allotted to Himachal Administrative officers in the campus depriving the deserving doctors.

Dr. Gupta said, “Government should allot pooled accommodation of doctors at Sidhpur / Mohli near Dharamsala”.

It is alleged that many faculty members have left the institution in last three years due to unbearable activities of higher office related to administration, discipline, house allotments.

TAMCOT demanded probe in to it.

The copies of the complaint were also sent to Health and Family welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur, Food Supply Minister GS Bali and Principal Secretary, Health, Himachal Pradesh.
