Chandigarh, December 24, 2014: Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi has awarded Senior Fellowship to Prof (Retd.) Surya Kant of the Department of Geography, Panjab University. At the same time, he has also been recommended as Emeritus Fellow to the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The tenure in both cases is for two years.
Surya Kant has joined as Senior Fellow of the ICSSR at the Department of Geography, Panjab University Chandigarh. He will be working on the research theme of “Demonolithing Scheduled Caste Population in India”.
