Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital supports children’s nutrition through Akshaya Patra Foundation’s Mid-Day Meal Program
Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital has taken a notable step in supporting child nutrition by sponsoring mid-day meals as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. In collaboration with The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the leading NGO in implementing the PM POSHAN program, the hospital has contributed to serving over 424,252 meals to more than 2,556 beneficiaries in 34 government and government-aided schools for the fiscal year 2023-24.
Bengaluru, July 2, 2024: Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital has taken a notable step in supporting child nutrition by sponsoring mid-day meals as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. In collaboration with The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the leading NGO in implementing the PM POSHAN program, the hospital has contributed to serving over 424,252 meals to more than 2,556 beneficiaries in 34 government and government-aided schools for the fiscal year 2023-24.

In addition to the meal sponsorship, Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital has also contributed a food delivery van in Hubli to assist in meal distribution, facilitating the delivery of approximately 6,000 meals daily across 28 schools in the location. This further enhances the hospital's commitment to community welfare and aligns with Akshaya Patra’s mission to eliminate classroom hunger.
