Dr Ajay Sharma's novel `Khelai Sagal Jagat' launched online on a large scale
Professor Sunil Kumar, State President of Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad Punjab Unit, duly organised the launch of Dr Ajay Sharma's novel `Khelai Sagal Jagat' online on Tuesday late evening. The chief guest of the program was Vishwa Hindu Parishad's International Executive President Alok Kumar while the program was presided over by Prof Balwant Jani.
Chandigarh, January 15, 2025: Professor Sunil Kumar, State President of Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad Punjab Unit, duly organised the launch of Dr Ajay Sharma's novel `Khelai Sagal Jagat' online on Tuesday late evening. The chief guest of the program was Vishwa Hindu Parishad's International Executive President Alok Kumar while the program was presided over by Prof Balwant Jani.
Those who expressed their views in the program included Prof Sunil Kumar, Dr Neelam Rathi, Manoj Kumar, Vandana Vajpayee, Vinod Babbar and Dr Pan Singh and Dr Vinod Kumar. The stage was conducted by Dr Poonam Mahajan very well.
In his address, Alok Kumar said that there is a need to write novels on such issues, this novel has come at the same time when our society is facing these issues, now the time has come to pay attention to the issues and highlight them.
In his presidential address, Balwant Jani said that this novel moves forward depicting Sanatan culture in such a way as if a person is watching a movie. The writer has worked on many such points in the novel on which more work needs to be done. Although writing a novel on such issues is a very difficult task, but Dr. Ajay Sharma has completed this difficult task with great simplicity and ease because the story remains interesting in the novel.
Adding, Jani said that the issues which the country needs now, Dr. Ajay Sharma has put those issues in front of the country through his story. He said that conversion is a very big issue in this, on which he himself has done a lot of work while living in India and abroad. But this is the first time he has seen the issue of conversion being penned in a novel. Once one starts reading the novel, no one can stop without finishing it. This is the reason why he read the novel in one sitting. He said that many points have been touched upon in the novel.
Dr Sunil said that the voice that Dr Ajay Sharma has given through his words in the novel will definitely reverberate outside Punjab and this novel will create its own unique identity.
Dr Neelam Rathi said in her address said that Dr Ajay Sharma may have kept the size of this novel small but this novel is big. Even big novels do not have such things which are there in this novel. The writer has succeeded in his task.
Vandana Vajpayee said that the novel can be seen on three levels. It talks about physical harassment, mental harassment and group harassment. The title of the novel contains the story of the entire novel.
Dr Vinod Kumar said that Dr Ajay Sharma has a great art of storytelling. The novelist is an expert in writing the biggest problems in novels through his stories.
Dr. Pan Singh said that Dr. Ajay Sharma has a lot to say and the most important thing is that he is not afraid or nervous while speaking and he puts his point across with great courage and determination.
Literatures from across the country including Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Chandigarh participated in the program.
Meanwhile, after attending the launch program, litterateur Manoj Dhiman said that the novel revolving around Ayodhya has filled the words with Rama. The novelist has also written about the Hindu-Muslim politics going on for years in the novel. By naming each chapter in the novel, he has added more interestingness to the novel. After reading the novel, it seems that the days of Ayodhya have returned again, because the name of the last chapter of the novel is also the same.
Former Secretary of Chandigarh Sahitya Academy Prem Vij has said that the novel reflects the environment, culture, festivals, folk songs and language of Punjab. The plot is full of interest.
