Dr Amar Singh lays foundation stone of Guru Ramdas Stadium at Village Dangon

Raikot (Ludhiana): Fatehgarh Sahib MP Dr Amar Singh laid the foundation stone of Guru Ramdas Stadium, to be constructed with a cost of Rs 30 lakh at village Dangon of district Ludhiana. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Youth Congress leader Mr Kamil Boparai, Zila Parishad member Mr Prabhdeep Singh Narangwal, Sarpanch Mr Amritpal Singh, besides several others. 
    While speaking on the occasion, Dr Amar Singh said that he is committed for the welfare of people of Fatehgarh Sahib constituency. He said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government is making dedicated efforts for providing urban like facilities to people residing in rural areas of the state. He said that the foundation stone of stadium at village Dangon is a step in that direction, and assured that it would be completed soon. He said that all kinds of facilities would be provided to the youth in this stadium.
    He said that due to COVID 19 pandemic, the government had to impose lockdown in the state, but now the situation is slowly getting better. He said that the Punjab government has launched Mission Fateh to bring life back on track. He also appealed to the residents to help the state government for making Mission Fateh successful.
    Sarpanch Mr Amritpal Singh informed that the stadium would come up in 4 acres of land, and would have a walking track having interlocking tiles, besides an open gym. He said that it was a long pending demand of the village residents and would help the village youth to get connected with sports. They also thanked Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and MP Dr Amar Singh.
    Prominent among those present on the occasion included Gurwinder Singh, Piara Singh, Ramandeep Singh, besides several others.
