Ferozepur, January 30, 2025: The Punjab Taekwondo Association held its Annual General Meeting at Punjab Olympic Bhawan, Chandigarh, to discuss ongoing initiatives and elect key office bearers.
Special DGP Arpit Shukla was appointed President, with Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools, and DIG Border Range Satinder Singh as Senior Vice Presidents. Shiv Prakash Shukla was named General Secretary, and Advocate Karan Singh Thakur as Treasurer.
DGP Arpit Shukla praised Dr. Gupta’s efforts in promoting education and sports, especially in Ferozepur. Spokesperson Vikram Ditya Sharma highlighted that Dr. Gupta’s appointment is a proud moment for the district, given his leadership in multiple sports bodies, including the Yoga Federation of India and Punjab Lawn Tennis Association.
Dr. Gupta’s extensive experience is expected to further boost Taekwondo and sports development in Punjab
