Dr Ashok Mittal, Chancellor of Lovely Professional University to take an Oath Tomorrow as the New Rajya Sabha Member at New Delhi on Monday
The recently elected Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Ashok Mittal, the Chancellor of Lovely Professional University (LPU) will be taking an oath on May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am. The oath swearing ceremony will be administered in the Parliament by Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu.
Jalandhar, May 1, 2022: The recently elected Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Ashok Mittal, the Chancellor of Lovely Professional University (LPU) will be taking an oath on May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am. The oath swearing ceremony will be administered in the Parliament by Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu.
Ahead of this prestigious ceremony, seeking almighty's blessings, he visited Durgiana Mandir and the Golden Temple with his family today. With a vision to work towards the betterment of Punjab and improve the education scenario, his journey from being the Chancellor of one of India's most prestigious universities, to a member of parliament, speaks volumes of persistent work, tenacious spirit, and clear understanding of dedication to his principles and aims.
On Sunday he also seeked blessings from his late parents by visiting their memorial (samadhi) in the Lovely Professional University. Tomorrow before oath taking Dr Mittal will also seek blessings at Gurudwara Shri Bangla Sahib and Hanuman Mandir at Delhi.
At the oath ceremony he will be accompanied by his wife, son, and his brother and Lovely Group Chairman Mr Ramesh Mittal.
