Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon new Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College Kapurthala

Kapurthala: Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon of Computer Science and IT Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar has been appointed Principal Lyallpur Khalsa College Kapurthala. This information was given by the College Principal Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra who congratulated Dr Baldev Singh on his appointment. Dr Samra said that Dr Dhillon was made the principal of the Kapurthala college showing to his administrative abilities and Research achievements which included publication of 7 books and 23 research papers and two research projects, in addition to participations in international conferences abroad and delivering invited lectures in different academic events. He also informed that Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon had been the president of the college unit of PCCTU for 8 years. Expressing his thanks towards Sardarni Balbir Kaur President College Governing Council for assigning him the new responsibility, Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon said that he would do his best to live up to the expectations the Governing Council had towards him. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr Manohar Singh and Dr Manpreet Singh, head and senior teacher, respectively, of the department.
