Dr Cheema releases calendar promoting anti cheating campaign

Chandigarh, February 17, 2015: A Calendar to promote the ongoing anti cheating campaign in the state was released today by Dr.Daljeet singh Cheema, Education Minister, Punjab. The Calendar which has been developed by Punjab School Education Board in collaboration with HDFC Branch will be sent to the government schools in Punjab.

Among those who were present on the occasion were Vineet Arora, Zonal head HDFC Bank, Vikas Kochar, Sudhir Gandhi, Senior officials from HDFC bank and Shruti Shukla, Convener of the anti cheating campaign.

Dr Cheema said that Punjab School Education Board in collaboration with Education Department has launched a massive drive to educate all the stake holders against the ill-effects of copying in examinations. Giving details Shruti Shukla, Deputy Director SCERT & convener of the Campaign told that under this project many functions were held in all the districts head quarters of Punjab in which thousands of teachers, principals, parents and students participated. six zonal level functions have also been organised at Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ferozepur, Bathinda and Patiala recently which evoked massive response from all quarter.
