Dr. Deepak K. Goyal conferred with Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA)-Best Presentation Award-2023 

Chandigarh, January 12, 2023: Dr. Deepak K. Goyal of the Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh was conferred with Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA)-Best Presentation Award-2023 in the section of Animal, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences of the recently concluded five-day 108th Indian Science Congress (January 3-7, 2023) at RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Maharashtra. 

The award was conferred upon him by the Noble Laureate Dr. Ada E. Yonath and Dr. (Mrs.) Vijay Laxmi Saxena, the General President of the ISCA in the gracious presence of the Chief guest of the event Dr. Vijayalakshmi Bidari, the Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur. Dr. Subhash R. Chaudhari, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Sanjay Santosh Dudhe - Pro Vice-Chancellor of RTM University were also present. Dr. Goyal has been working to develop a vaccine for leishmaniasis under the supervision of Prof. Sukhbir Kaur of Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has been awarded many other awards for best presentations at different conferences. He has done Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Sukhbir Kaur in the parasitology laboratory of Dept. of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has published many international research articles in reputed journals and is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) in the Department of Zoology, PU, Chandigarh.
