A two -day International Conference on “Dimensions of Interfaith Dialogue in India” was organised at Saiyid Hamid Central Library Auditorium, MANUU, Hyderabad.
The event was organised by the Department of Islamic Studies, MANUU, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Henry Martyn Institute, Shivarampally, Hyderabad.
Padma Shri Dr Harmohinder Singh Bedi, Chancellor, Central University Himachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest at inaugural session on February 3, 2025.
In his address, Dr Bedi said that Punjab is the region of India where inter-religious dialogue started, which became a part of the cultural and religious heritage of Guru Nanak and Baba Farid.
Delegates from across the world had participated in the event.
