Ludhiana: Former Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, has acknowledged the work of City Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu, who has made a Documentary titled “Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji”, dedicated to 400th year of advent of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib. Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh after having the online preview of the said documentary, had send his special message, wherein he congratulated Advocate Harpreet Sandhu for compiling a unique documentary depicting the pious life journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib from his birth till martyrdom to mark the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib depicting his spiritual journey and has also sent his best wishes for the success of the documentary. The documentary depicts the historic Gurudwaras where Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib left his footprints are source of inspiration for the present generation to imbibe the values of sacrifice and uprightness, which Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib upheld steadfastly.
The documentary has also been well acclaimed by the Punjabis settled within England, Canada, Germany other European Countries. Member Parliament from Ealing, House of Commons, United Kingdom Virendra Sharma, Member Parliament, Brampton, Canada, has also appreciated this pious work keeping in view the upcoming 400th birth anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib in May 2021 and stated this pious work will definitely help to spread preaching of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, and message of peace and universal brotherhood, communal harmony within humanity.
The said documentary was launched in Punjab in the month of January 2021 by the Governor Punjab VP Singh Badnore and later the documentary has been projected all over state, with an aim to spread awareness particularly within the youth of Punjab with relevance on the life and teachings of 9th Sikh Guru.
