Mohali, August 10, 2024: Renowned ENT expert, Dr. Naresh Kumar Panda has joined Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali as Director of Department of ENT.
Dr. Panda brings in a rich experience of 37 years working as consultant ENT at PGIMER, Chandigarh out of which he served as HOD of Department 20 years. He is also a former dean academic of PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Dr. Panda has an experience of doing more than 600 cochlear implant surgeries over the last 20 years. His area of interest includes cochlear implantation & other otological procedures, head & neck (kg thyroid & parotid surgeries), endoscopic sinus surgery, transoral robotic surgery and routine surgeries.
He has won many awards and accomplishments. He has done many research with more than 425 publications in national & international journals.
Dr. Panda is also a former President of Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Dean of Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery since 2019. He is Hon. Fellow of Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery since 2018, member of Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Life member of Indian Society of Otology, founder member of Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology and a life member of Neurotological & eguilibriometric Society of India.
He is also a member of faculty of Surgical trainers FST royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh UK and a Fellow of International College of Surgeons, member of New York Academy of Sciences (1998) and a life member Austrian Medical Society. He is also Fellow of Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh UK.
