Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi delivered colloquium series lecture 

Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS (Retd) and member KaramYogi Bharat Board, Govt of India, delivered the colloquium series lecture at Biotechnology Department, Panjab University on the topic “Implementation and operationalization of new education and skilling architecture in India”. Chandigarh, August 28, 2024: Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS (Retd) and member KaramYogi Bharat Board, Govt of India, delivered the colloquium series lecture at Biotechnology Department, Panjab University on the topic “Implementation and operationalization of new education and skilling architecture in India”. He was welcomed by Prof. Harsh Nayyar, Director, Research, PU, Prof. Arun Kumar Grover, ex-VC, PU, Prof. Desh Deepak Singh. Coordinator, colloquium series, PU, faculty and scholars.

Dr. Kalsi delved on the new education policyand development of skill in the education system. He stressed upon the importance of interdisciplinary approach and exhorted the scholars to develop skills making them employable and contributing to the development of Indian economy. He also emphasized on the diligent efforts made to make the National credit framework for academic flexibility and expressed confidence that PU with its proactive approach will be able to be a path leader and benefit significantly from the new initiatives. The talk was webcast for the benefit of scholars, faculty from CRIKC and other institutions.
