Chandigarh, September 23, 2024: Dr. Nitin Arora, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has been awarded consultancy by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Arora received the award letter from Keiji Shibata, Director AMC, ADBI, after the scrutiny of the expressions of interest invited from the entire globe. Dr. Arora shall be offering consultancy on ADBI’s project report entitled Banking in South Asia: Bad Loans Management, Digital Ecosystem, and Sustainable Governance.
The major objective of the report shall be an analysis trends and determinants of nonperforming assets among south Asian nations. Also the digital ecosystem and the banks practices in assuring sustainable governance shall be evaluated by the consultant. Dr. Arora shall also be awarded US $ 5000/- honorarium (post facto) as consultancy charges that would be shared by the university and him as per the rules.
