Chandigarh, June 8, 2023: Dr. Pankaj Malviya, Professor in the department of Russian, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been nominated for the prestigious award of the"Medal of Pushkin 2023".
This decision was taken by the Presidium of International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL) in its meeting in China.
The 'Medal of Pushkin' is a state decoration of the Russian Federation, awarded to its citizens and to foreigners for achievements in the arts, culture, education, humanities and literature. It is named in honour of Great Russian writer and poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.
Dr.Pankaj Malviya will receive this prestigious award during XV Congress of MAPRYAL in September 2023 in St Petersburg (Russia).
