Jalandhar: Sh. Chander Mohan President Arya Shiksha Mandal and College Managing Committee appointed Dr. Pardeep bhandari as 11th Principal of Doaba College, Jalandhar today after successful completion of interview process as per DPI (C) Punjab and GNDU, Amritsar norms. Sh. Chander Mohan congratulated the newly appointed Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari and expressed hope that college will touch new heights of glory under his stewardship.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Pardeep Bhandari has served as Head, P.G. Department of Computer Science & I.T. and has rendered his services as a teacher in college for 20 years. Dr. Pardeep Bhandari did his MCA from GNDU Amritsar in 2001 and his Ph.D from Punjabi University Patiala in Computer Science and Engineering subject in 2017. He did his P.G. Diploma in Business Mgt, P.G. Diploma in Education Management and Administration, 3 courses in Cyber Security, Cyber Crime & Forensic tools and Android App Development from NITR Chandigarh, He has presenting till date 29 research papers in UGC approved generals National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has also prepared 10 e-learning modules from NMEICT Government of India, has written 10 chapters in books, attended 14 FDPs and National and International webinars. He is member faculty of Engineering and technology and board of studies in GNDU Amritsar. Dr. Bhandari has also frequently organized computer awareness programmes for senior citizens and rural area students.
Former Principal Dr. Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Prof. Sandeep Chahal- Staff Secretary, Kapil Dev Sharma-Office Superintendent and members of Teaching and Non-Teaching staff were also present on the occasion.
