Dr. Rukmini Banerji, CEO of Pratham and Yidan Prize Laureate, Visits Sat Paul Mittal School

Ludhiana, April 22, 2025: Sat Paul Mittal School had the distinct honour of hosting Dr. Rukmini Banerji, Chief Executive Officer of the Pratham Education Foundation and recipient of the esteemed Yidan Prize—the world’s highest accolade in the field of education. Her visit marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey towards academic excellence and innovation in education.

Dr. Banerji was accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome by Mr. Bipin Gupta, Vice-Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School and Ms. Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School. The event was graced by members of the Governing Council, Academic Advisory Council and several eminent dignitaries who gathered to witness this momentous occasion.

The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a soulful dance performance by the talented Satyans, setting a tone of cultural grace and youthful energy. Dr. Banerji then embarked on a guided tour of the school campus, where she was introduced to its cutting-edge infrastructure. From spacious, well-ventilated classrooms equipped with interactive smart panels to state-of-the-art laboratories for Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Computers and STEM, every space reflected the school's commitment to a progressive and immersive learning environment.
