Ludhiana: Dr Sanjeev K Uppal, CEO, unfurled the National Flag today at Mohandai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana. 256 consultants, resident doctors, administrators, nurses, technicians and other staff members including ward boys and sweepers were honoured for their exemplary services during the Corona Pandemic.
The Republic Day Function was attended by nearly 400 staff members and patients’ relatives. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Uppal appreciated the hard work put in by one and all during the toughest ever working conditions during covid-19. He lauded the staff for saving hundreds of precious lives and putting in a brave front against the most-deadly disease.
Mr Jawahar Lal Oswal, Chairman, MOH, conveyed his gratitude and congratulated the awardees.
Mr Yogendra Awadhiya, Head Operations proposed the vote of thanks and advised public at large to continue precautions like wearing mask and social distancing as the corona threat is not over yet.
