Chandigarh, April 14, 2022: Dr. SSBUICET (Established 1958) has been accorded approval for the BE (Chemical Engineering) Course for a period of 03 years upto 30.6.2025 by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The NBA team visited the institute in Feb 2022 and the notification was issued yesterday. Dr.SSBUICET has a wide alumni network in India and abroad, and placed at very important positions in industry, government and society. The course for BE (Chemical Engineering) started in 1958 with a strength of 30 students and now has tripled over the past many years.
The Institute has been bestowed with many grants FIST- DST, UGC-SAP, TEQIP-II & III grants. Students are well placed in reputed companies like EXXON MOBIL, Reliance, EIL, IOCL etc. with handsome package.
