Chandigarh, August 31, 2023: Senior Professor and former Head of School of Punjabi Studies Dr. Yog Raj has taken charge of Dean Languages today, who will also be joining as Chairperson of Punjabi Department, PU for the second time from September 1, 2023. He is also giving services as Vice Chairman of Punjab Arts Council and member of advisory board, Bharti Sahitya Academy. He is also known as prominent critic of Contemporary Punjabi Poetry. Talking to the students today, he said that his main focus is to standardize the academics and research level of Languages. He also assured that he will appeal to the Panjab University authorities to build a smart room in the department.
